ART CENTER HUGO VOETEN
A UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT FOR UNIQUE ART
On April 18th 2012, the Art Center Hugo Voeten opened its doors. With respect for the original architecture, an old grain factory on the banks of the Campine Canal in Herentals, province of Antwerp, has been converted into a nine-level art and exhibition center where collector Hugo Voeten has now housed a part of his collection.
An impressive building, an amazing collection, a flexible location
A visit to the Art Center Hugo Voeten is not only an artistic experience. Evidently, you will discover a perhaps unexpected collection and interesting temporary exhibitions. You can always make a group reservation for a guided tour of the permanent collection at the arts centre in Herentals or a guided tour of the sculpture garden in Geel or, for individual visitors, visit the collection at the arts center during Open Art Center on each first Sunday of the month, with guided tours at 10.30 am and 2 pm, or visit the temporary exhibition on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon from 1.30 till 5 pm.

New exhibition 'Yehiel Rabinowitz' in Art Center Hugo Voeten opens its doors on April 30th. End of the exhibition: June 5th. Opening hours: wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday afternoon from 1.30 till 5 pm. Admission: 5 euro / 3 euro (+65, -21, students/teachers).
Please be informed that the permanent collection is not open to the public during the visit of the temporary exhibition. The permanent collection can be visited in group by prior appointment on tuesday, thursday and saturday.
Each first Sunday of the month individual visitors can visit the Hugo Voeten art collection through a guided tour.
