The Art Center Hugo Voeten houses a considerable part of the large and multifaceted collection of Hugo Voeten. On the banks of the Campine Canal in Herentals, in the province of Antwerp, an old grain factory has been converted into a nine-level art and exhibition center: a unique environment for unique art.

A UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT FOR UNIQUE ART

On April 18th 2012, the Art Center Hugo Voeten opened its doors. With respect for the original architecture, an old grain factory on the banks of the Campine Canal in Herentals, province of Antwerp, has been converted into a nine-level art and exhibition center where collector Hugo Voeten has now housed a part of his collection.

An impressive building, an amazing collection, a flexible location

A visit to the Art Center Hugo Voeten is not only an artistic experience. Evidently, you will discover a perhaps unexpected collection and interesting temporary exhibitions. You can always make a group reservation for a guided tour of the permanent collection at the arts centre in Herentals or a guided tour of the sculpture garden in Geel or, for individual visitors, visit the collection at the arts center during Open Art Center on each first Sunday of the month, with guided tours at 10.30 am and 2 pm, or visit the temporary exhibition on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon from 1.30 till 5 pm.

During the summer holidays, the Art Center Hugo closes its offices from July 15th until August 3rd. We wish you a pleasant summer period!

The 'Robert Bosisio' exhibition opens on September 26th and runs till October 30th. Opening hours: wednesday, thursday and friday afternoon from 1.30 till 5 pm. Admission: 5 euro / 3 euro (+65, -21, students/teachers).
